# The Highways (Traffic Calming) Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text


HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 21st July 1993
Laid before Parliament 22nd July 1993
Coming into force 27th August 1993
The Secretary of State for Transport, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of powers conferred by section 90H of the Highways Act 1980 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
