# The Hill Farm Allowance Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 19th March 2001
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food ( “the Minister”) being a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 as regards the common agricultural policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by that section, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
