# Historic Monuments and Archaeological Objects (Northern Ireland) Order 1995, Article 31: Compensation orders for damage to monuments under guardianship


Where the owner or any other person is convicted of an offence involving damage to a monument which was at the time of the offence under the guardianship of the Department any compensation order made under Article 14 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 (compensation orders against convicted persons) in respect of that damage shall be made in favour of the Department.
