# The Home Information Pack (Amendment) Regulations 2009, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in SI 2008/3107 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 163 and 250(2) of the Housing Act 2004, makes the following Regulations:
In accordance with section 250(3) of that Act, the Secretary of State has consulted the Welsh Ministers in relation to residential properties in Wales.
