# The Home Loss Payments Order 1989, Article 2: Citation and commencement


Subject to article 3 below, for the purposes of section 30(1) of the Land Compensation Act 1973 (amount of home loss payment in England and Wales)–
(a) the prescribed multiplier is 10;
(b) the prescribed minimum amount of a home loss payment is £1200.
