# Horserace Betting Levy Act 1981, Section 5: Citation, interpretation and extent.

Extent: E+W+S

(1) This Act may be cited as the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1981.
(2) In this Act—
“the Act of 1963” means the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963;
“the Act of 1969” means the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1969;
“the Levy Board” has the same meaning as in the Act of 1963;
“levy period” has the same meaning as in Part 1 of the Act of 1963.
(3) This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
