# The Horticultural Development Council (Amendment) Order 1992, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order, which comes into force on 23rd July 1992, amends for the second time the Horticultural Development Council Order 1986 ( “the principal Order”).
Amendments made by the Order have the effect of reducing the number of members of the Council appointed by the Ministers from twenty-two to fourteen and the quorum of the Council from a minimum of eight persons to a minimum of five (articles 3 and 4).
