# Horticulture Act (Northern Ireland) 1966, Section 31: Punishment of offences under this Act.


(1) A person guilty of an offence under. . . section 27(1). . . ,. . . shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 2 on standard scale.
(2) A person guilty of an offence under any of the provisions of this Act, other than the provisions mentioned in subsection (1), shall be liable on summary conviction. . . , to a fine not exceeding £1,000, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, or to both such fine and such imprisonment.
