  "text": "(1) A local housing authority may fit out, furnish and supply a house provided by them under this Part with all requisite furniture, fittings and conveniences.\n(2) A local housing authority may sell, or supply under a hire-purchase agreement or a conditional sale agreement, furniture to the occupants of houses so provided, and may for that purpose buy furniture.\n(3) In subsection (2) “conditional sale agreement” and “hire-purchase agreement” have the same meaning as in the Consumer Credit Act 1974.",
