  "heading": "Minor definitions.",
  "text": "(1) In this Part—\n“common parts”, in relation to a dwelling-house let under a tenancy, means any part of a building comprising the dwelling-house and any other premises which the tenant is entitled under the terms of the tenancy to use in common with the occupiers of other dwelling-houses let by the landlord;\n“housing purposes” means the purposes for which dwelling-houses are held by local housing authorities under Part II (provision of housing) or purposes corresponding to those purposes;\n“rental period” means a period in respect of which a payment of rent falls to be made;\n“term”, in relation to a secure tenancy, includes a condition of the tenancy.\n(2) In this Part, the following terms have the same meaning as in the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 (anaw 1)—\n(a) “contract-holder” (see section 7 (see also section 48) of that Act);\n(b) “prohibited conduct standard contract” (see section 116 of that Act);\n(c) “secure contract” (see section 8 of that Act).",
