  "text": "(1) The Secretary of State may by order provide that, where there are in a dwelling-house let on a secure tenancy one or more interest to which this section applies, this Part and Part IV (secure tenancies) have effect with such modifications as are specified in the order.\n(2) This section applies to an interest held by—\na local authority,\na new town corporation,\na housing action trust\nan urban development corporation,\na Mayoral development corporation,\n. . .\nthe Regulator of Social Housing or Scottish Homes, a non-profit registered provider of social housing or\na registered social landlord,\nwhich is immediately superior to the interest of the landlord or to another interest to which this section applies.\n(3) An order under this section—\n(a) may make different provision with respect to different cases or descriptions of case;\n(b) may contain such consequential, supplementary or transitional provisions as appear to the Secretary of State to be necessary or expedient; and\n(c) shall be made by statutory instrument which shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.",
