# The Housing Act 1996 (Commencement No. 9) Order 1997

HOUSING, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 26th February 1997
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 232(3) of the Housing Act 1996 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order—

## 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Housing Act 1996 (Commencement No. 9) Order 1997.

## 2 Commencement

Section 227 of the Housing Act 1996 in so far as it relates to the repeals in Part II of Schedule 19 to that Act shall come into force on 3rd March 1997.
