# The Housing Act 1996 (Consequential Amendments) (No. 2) Order 1997, Paragraph 1: Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965


In section 6(1)(b) of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 (maximum shareholding in a society), for “58(2)” substitute “58” and after “1985” insert “or section 22 of the Housing Act 1996”.
