# The Housing Act 1996 (Consequential Amendments) Order 1997, Paragraph 12: The Council Tax (Liability for Owners) Regulations 1992


In regulation 1(2) of the Council Tax (Liability for Owners) Regulations 1992—
(a) after the definition of “the Act” insert—
““Introductory tenant” means a tenant under an introductory tenancy within the meaning of Chapter I of Part V of the Housing Act 1996;”; and
(b) for the definition of “tenant” substitute ““tenant” includes a secure tenant, an introductory tenant and a statutory tenant.”.
