# Housing and Planning Act 2016, Paragraph 12

Status: prospective

(1) Section 97 (tenant's improvements require consent) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (1), after “secure tenancy” insert “ to which this section applies ”.
(3) After subsection (1) insert—
“(1A) This section applies to—
(a) a secure tenancy of a dwelling-house in Wales, or
(b) an old-style secure tenancy of a dwelling-house in England.”
(4) Omit subsection (5).
