# Housing and Regeneration Act 2008, Paragraph 16


(1) The enactments relating to compensation for the compulsory purchase of land apply, with the necessary modifications, in relation to the acquisition of new rights under section 9 as they apply to compensation for the compulsory purchase of land.
(2) Sub-paragraph (1) is without prejudice to the generality of paragraph 8.
