# Housing and Regeneration Act 2008, Paragraph 2


(1) Schedule 3 to the Act of 1981 applies to the compulsory acquisition of new rights under section 9 with the following modification.
(2) The reference in paragraph 4(3) of that Schedule to statutory undertakers includes a reference to the HCA and a strategic authority outside London (whether the power of compulsory acquisition is being exercised by the strategic authority or a mayor for its area).
