# Housing and Regeneration Act 2008, Paragraph 7


(1) Any person who suffers loss by the extinguishment of a right, or the vesting of any apparatus, under paragraph 3 is entitled to compensation from the HCA (where it completes the compulsory acquisition) or the strategic authority outside London (where it, or the mayor for its area, completes the compulsory acquisition).
(2) Any compensation payable under this paragraph is to be determined in accordance with the Land Compensation Act 1961 (c. 33).
