  "text": "The payments referred to in paragraph 1(a) are—\n(a) payments by way of annual grants or exchequer contributions under—\nsection 31(3) of the Housing Act 1949,\nsection 19(3) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1949, or\nsection 121(3) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1950\n(arrangements by local authorities for improvement of housing accommodation);\n(b) payments by way of annual grants or exchequer contributions under—\nsection 12(1) or 15 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act 1958,\nsection 89(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1950,\nsection 12 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1962, or\nsection 21 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1968\n(contributions for dwellings improved under arrangements with local authorities or grants for hostels);\n(c) payments by way of annual grant or exchequer contributions under—\nsection 12(6) of the Housing Subsidies Act 1967,\nsection 121 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1950,\nsection 62 of the Housing Act 1964, or\nsection 17 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1968\n(subsidies for conversions or improvements by housing associations);\n(d) payments by way of annual grant under—\nsection 21(8) of the Housing Act 1969 (contributions for dwellings provided or improved by housing associations under arrangements with local authorities);\n(e) payments by way of subsidy under—\nsection 72, 73, 75 or 92 of the Housing Finance Act 1972,\nsection 52, 53, 55 or 57 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1972, or\nParts I, II, VI and VII of Schedule 5 to this Act (basic or special residual subsidy, new building or improvement subsidy, hostel subsidy).",
