# The Housing Benefit (General) Amendment Regulations 1990, Regulation 12: Amendment of regulation 81 of the General Regulations


In regulation 81 of the General Regulations (further review of determinations) for paragraph (4) there shall be substituted the following paragraph–
“(4) Notwithstanding paragraph (3) where–
(a) a person has requested a further review of a determination, and
(b) he has also, in connection with a claim for community charge benefit, requested a further review of a determination relating to community charge benefit in accordance with regulation 69 of the Community Charge Benefits (General) Regulations 1989 (further reviews of determinations with respect to community charge benefit),
a Review Board appointed in accordance with that regulation may also be appointed under this regulation to conduct a further review of the determination in respect of housing benefit at the same time, provided that the person who has made the representation against each determination and any person affected agree to this course.”.
