  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Benefit (General) Amendment Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 7th October 1996.\n(2) In these Regulations—\n“the principal Regulations” means the Housing Benefit (General) Regulations 1987;\n“the Amendment Regulations” means the Housing Benefit (General) Amendment Regulations 1995;\n“the relevant date” means the 6th October 1996.\n(3) In regulations 9 and 10 of these Regulations expressions used shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the same meaning as they have in the principal Regulations.",
