  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend regulation 5 of the Housing Benefit (General) Regulations 1987 (S.I. 1987/1971) (circumstances in which a person is or is not to be treated as occupying a dwelling as his home).\nRegulation 2 provides that a person who is required to reside in a dwelling which is an approved bail hostel or approved probation hostel shall not be treated as occupying that dwelling as his home. The effect is that a person will not be entitled to housing benefit in respect of that dwelling.\nThese Regulations do not impose any charge on business.",
