  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order specifies an additional purpose for which a grant under sections 12 (renovation grants), 17 (common parts grants) and 27 (HMO grants) of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 may be given. That additional purpose is, in each case, to improve energy efficiency.\nWorks specified under section 12 or 27 become relevant works for the purposes of section 169 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (c. 42) (powers of local authorities and Secretary of State as respects professional &c. services in relation to works).\nThis Order extends to England only.",
