for the words from “who either is” to “his eleventh birthday” substitute “in respect of the period beginning on that child’s date of birth and ending on the day preceding the first Monday in September (in any year) following that child’s twelfth birthday”; and

for the words from “who are aged 8” to “their eleventh birthday” substitute “in respect of the period beginning on their eighth birthday and ending on the day preceding the first Monday in September (in any year) following their twelfth birthday”.
