  "long_title": "This Order amends the formula in the Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Grant Limit) Order 1993 for calculating the maximum amount of grant which a local housing authority may pay under Part VIII of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (grants towards costs of improvements and repairs). By virtue of the formula the maximum amount of mandatory grant was the lesser of £50,000 and the amount calculated under paragraph (b) of article 2 of the earlier Order. Article 2 of this Order replaces the figure of £50,000 with £20,000 in respect of grants for properties in England and with £24,000 for properties in Wales.",
