Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Acquire) (Discount) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 10th May 1999.

In this Order “area” means “county” or “district” as defined by section 270 of the Local Government Act 1972^f1, a London borough or the City of London.
