Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Acquire) (Discount) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 17th July 2000.

In this Order “area” means “county” or “district” as defined in relation to England by section 270 of the Local Government Act 1972^f1, a London borough or the City of London.
