  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nA person exercising the right to buy a dwelling-house in England under Part 5 of the Housing Act 1985 may be entitled, under sections 129 to 131 of and Schedule 4 to the Act, to a discount equal to a percentage of the price before discount.\nThe discount may not, however, reduce the price by more than such sum as the Secretary of State may by order prescribe. The Housing (Right to Buy) (Limits on Discount) Order 1998 currently prescribes the maximum discount for specified regions in England. This order amends that order to change the maximum discount for the areas specified within the Eastern, London and South East regions to £16,000.",
