  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order specifies 1st April 1989 as the specified date for the purposes of section 3(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988.\nThat section provides that, on the specified date, the Scottish Special Housing Association is to be dissolved and its property, rights, obligations and liabilities are to be transferred to and vest in Scottish Homes.\nThe specified date is also relevant for the purposes of section 4 of the Act. That section provides for the transfer from the Housing Corporation to Scottish Homes on the specified date of its responsibilities with regard to certain housing associations and of certain property, rights, obligations and liabilities of the Housing Corporation.",
