# The Housing Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1988, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order in relation to the year 1988-89—
(i) fixes the estimated aggregate amount of the housing support grants payable under section 191 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 to certain local authorities in Scotland; and
(ii) prescribes the method of apportionment of housing support grants among those authorities.
