# The Housing Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1994, Introduction: Introductory text


HOUSING, SCOTLAND
Made 22nd February 1994
Coming into force 1st April 1994
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 191 and 192 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with such associations of local authorities as appear to him to be concerned under the said sections 191 and 192 and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order, a draft of which has been approved by the House of Commons:
