# Housing, Town Planning, &c. Act 1919, Section 37: Application of Act to New Forest


The provision of houses under the Housing Acts shall be deemed to be a local sanitary requirement for the purpose of the 1 Edw. 7. c. cxcviii.New Forest (Sale of Lands for Public Purposes) Act, 1902. Provided that the total area of land being part of the New Forest which may be sold or let for the provision of houses shall not exceed 30 acres.
