  "text": "Where a local housing authority is required by this Chapter to help to secure (rather than “to secure”) that suitable accommodation is available, or does not cease to be available, for occupation by an applicant, the authority—\n(a) is required to take reasonable steps to help, having regard (among other things) to the need to make the best use of the authority's resources;\n(b) is not required to secure an offer of accommodation under Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996 (allocation of housing);\n(c) is not required to otherwise provide accommodation.",
