  "heading": "Duty to help to prevent an applicant from becoming homeless",
  "text": "(1) A local housing authority must help to secure that suitable accommodation does not cease to be available for occupation by an applicant if the authority is satisfied that the applicant is—\n(a) threatened with homelessness, and\n(b) eligible for help.\n(2) Subsection (1) does not affect any right of the authority, whether by virtue of a contract, enactment or rule of law, to secure vacant possession of any accommodation.",
