  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Hovercraft (Fees) Regulations 1997 (S.I. 1997/320) (the principal Regulations) to prescribe changes in some of the fees charged.\nIn Part 3 of the principal Regulations, the hourly rate chargeable under regulation 5 for the services specified in regulation 6 has been increased from £60 to £78.\nRevised fees have been introduced in respect of the additional fees payable under regulation 9 of the principal Regulations. The changes to the fees charged are as follows:\nDescription of fee\nOld fee\nNew fee\n£\n£\n1. Waiting time prior to commencement of and during survey or inspection:\nFor periods not in excess of one hour\nNo fee\nNo fee\nFor periods in excess of one hour: for surveys in the United Kingdom\n£60\n£78\nfor surveys abroad\n£120\n£156\n2. For abortive visits in the United Kingdom: time wasted in excess of one hour at place of survey or inspection plus travelling time to and from place of survey\n£60\n£78\n3. For survey or inspection services at unusual hours during the following hours including travelling time:\nMondays to Fridays 6 pm to 8 am and all day Saturday\n£30\n£39\nSunday and Public Holidays\n£60\n£78\nA Regulatory Impact Assessment has been carried out and a copy placed in the library of both Houses of Parliament.
