The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(9) and 52(1) of the Human Tissue Act 2004^f1.

In accordance with section 52(10)^f2 of that Act, the Secretary of State has consulted such persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.

In accordance with section 52(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
