# Human Tissue (Scotland) Act 2006, Section 27: Requirements for carrying out post-mortem examination


A post-mortem examination may be carried out only if—
(a) it is authorised in accordance with section 29, 30, 31, 32 or, as the case may be 33; and
(b) the requirements of section 35 are satisfied.
