  "heading": "Early termination: managed contracts",
  "text": "(1) Paragraph (2) applies where—\n(a) a termination notice provides for an early termination;\n(b) at the date of the termination notice there is a managed contract;\n(c) the rights period of that contract ends after the termination date; and\n(d) the termination notice is not withdrawn.\n(2) Where this paragraph applies—\n(a) the Secretary of State must give a direction under regulation 24(1) in respect of the managed contract; and\n(b) the cessation date referred to in regulation 24(2)(b)(ii) which applies in respect of that direction must be no later than the termination date.",
