# The Hydrocarbons (Temporary Management Scheme) Regulations 2013, Regulation 37: Penalties


A person guilty of an offence under regulation 36 is liable—
(a) on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding—
(i) except in Scotland, the statutory maximum;
(ii) in Scotland, £5000;
(b) on conviction on indictment, to a fine.
