The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(3) of the Identity Cards Act 2006, makes the following Order:

## 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Identity Cards Act 2006 (Commencement No.2) Order 2006.

## 2 Commencement

Section 37 of the Identity Cards Act 2006 (Report to Parliament about likely cost of ID cards scheme) shall come into force on 30th September 2006.
