  "text": "A “registration official” is any of the following—\n(a) the Registrar General;\n(b) a superintendent registrar;\n(c) a registrar;\n(d) a registration authority or a person exercising the functions of a registration authority;\n(e) a civil partnership registrar (within the meaning of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 — see section 29 of that Act).",
