  "text": "(1) In paragraph 16 of Schedule 2 to the 1971 Act, for sub-paragraph (2) substitute—\n“(2) If there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that a person is someone in respect of whom directions may be given under any of paragraphs 8 to 10 or 12 to 14, that person may be detained under the authority of an immigration officer pending—\n(a) a decision whether or not to give such directions;\n(b) his removal in pursuance of such directions.”\n(2) In paragraph 17(2) of that Schedule (power to grant constable a warrant to search and arrest), for the words from “authorising any constable” to “if need be” substitute “ authorising any immigration officer or constable to enter, if need be ”.",
