Schedule 4 Extension and modification of provisions of the Immigration Act 2014

Section 9 of the 2014 Act

Omit subsections (1), (2) and (3).

In subsection (2) –

(a) in the new paragraph (7)(a) to be inserted in paragraph 4 of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971 Act, for “chief”, substitute “senior”, and

(b) in the new paragraph (8)(a) to be inserted in paragraph 4 of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971 Act, for “officer of the Secretary of State”, substitute “officer responsible to the States of Guernsey Committee for Home Affairs”.

Section 77 of the 2014 Act

Omit paragraphs 2, 3, 4 and 5 of this schedule, including their headings.
