  "long_title": "Article 2(1) of the Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972 defines “alien” for the purposes of the Order as having the same meaning as in the British Nationality Act 1948 (c.56). The definition of “alien” in section 32(1) of that Act is repealed by the British Nationality Act 1981 which comes into force on 1st January 1983 (S.I. 1982/933). This Order amends the definition of “alien” in Article 2(1) so as to give it the same meaning there as it has in the Act of 1981 (which defines it in section 50(1)).",
