# The Immigration (Notices) (Amendment) Regulations 2023, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
Regulation 2 of these Regulations amends the Immigration (Notices) Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/658) to clarify that notices required to be given under regulation 4 of those Regulations and which are sent electronically under regulation 7 of those Regulations, include those notices which are uploaded to the electronic portal set up for that purpose by the Home Office. They also provide as to when notices which are so uploaded are deemed to have been received.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
