  "text": "In this Act, except where the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:—\n“the appointed day”, in reference to an existing body, means such day as may be agreed by Imperial College and that body under section 3 (Appointed day) of this Act and, in reference to the Institute, means the date on which this Act is passed;\n“the charter” means the charter reconstituting the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, granted by Her Majesty on 25th February 1974;\n“existing body” means the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School or the Royal Postgraduate Medical School;\n“the Governing Body” means the Governing Body of Imperial College;\n“Imperial College” means the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine;\n“the Institute” means the National Heart and Lung Institute.",
