  "text": "CUSTOMS AND EXCISE\nMade 9th October 1970\nLaid before the House of Commons 15th October 1970\nComing into Operation 16th October 1970\nWhereas it appears to the Treasury expedient that the relief from import duties provided by this Order should be allowed with a view to conforming with an agreement concerning co-operation in defence satellite communications which has been made between Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and the Government of the United States of America and entered into force on 1st April 1970:\nNow therefore, the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, by virtue of the powers conferred on them by section 5 of the Import Duties Act 1958, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, on the recommendation of the Board of Trade hereby make the following Order:—",
