Article 1 Citation and commencement

This Order, which implements the parts relating to bees of Council Directive 92/65/EEC (laying down animal health requirements governing trade in and imports into the Community of animals, semen, ova and embryos not subject to animal health requirements laid down in specific Community rules referred to in Annex A(I) to Directive 90/425/EEC)^f1, may be cited as the Importation of Bees (Amendment) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st January 1994.
