# The Income Support (Transitional) Regulations 1987, Regulation 16: Persons not entitled to transitional additions

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) A person without accommodation shall not be entitled to a transitional addition, personal expenses addition or a special transitional addition.
(2) A person who is in board and lodging accommodation or a hostel shall not be entitled to a special transitional addition.
(3) A prisoner within the meaning of regulation 21(3) of the General Regulations (special cases) shall not be entitled to a transitional addition, personal expenses addition or special transitional addition.
