# The Indictments (Procedure) (Amendment) Rules 1997, Article 2: Interpretation


In these Rules—
“the 1971 Rules” means the Indictments (Procedure) Rules 1971;
“the 1980 Act” means the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980;
“the 1996 Act” means the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996.
